    Martha Marks Pottery

Spending summers in Alabama’s woods and along the Tennessee River deeply influenced my pottery, inspiring organic shapes like vines and flowers to appear, even when unintentional. I create pieces that are both beautiful and functional, meant to be used and appreciated every day. For me, pottery is personal — I love knowing the story behind each piece and the artist who made it. You won’t find that kind of connection in mass-produced items from big-box stores.

Muddy Road Pottery — Timeless Artistry by Ned
Ned’s work at Muddy Road Pottery carries a distinct voice — not quite old-fashioned, but rich with the spirit of the past. His style nods to tradition while forging its own unique path. From fiery, fan-favorite mugs to Raku-fired pieces with glazes that feel like pure magic, Ned’s craftsmanship is unmistakable. Even the simplest vase becomes a statement piece — the kind of art your home has been waiting for.
